Serial rapist to be sentenced for 6 attacks

TOWSON, Md. (AP) _ A serial rapist who has admitted attacking seven women will be sentenced Wednesday in Baltimore County.

Alphonso Hill pleaded guilty last month to six counts of first-degree rape. The attacks occurred in the Towson area between 1978 and 1989. Hill is already serving 15 years for a 1983 rape in Baltimore city.

Hill was initially arrested in 2002 after one of his victims, Laura Neuman, pleaded with Baltimore police for years to reopen her case. The Associated Press does not typically identify victims of sexual assault, but Neuman has...
