Board to vote on debt relief for sports museum
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) _ The Maryland Board of Public Works is scheduled Wednesday to vote on $444,000 in debt relief for the Sports Legends Museum at Camden Yards. The deal was negotiated between the museum and the Maryland Stadium Authority. Under the agreement, the rent for the museum building will be reduced and the lease on will be restructured from 21 years to 5 years, with an option to renew the lease for three additional five-year terms.
