Salisbury teacher charged in sex case
SALISBURY, Md. (AP) _ The Wicomico Bureau of Investigation has arrested a music teacher at Salisbury Christian School on charges she had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old male student.
Forty-one-year-old Carole Mayers of Eden is charged with 20 counts, including sexual abuse of a minor, third- and fourth-degree sex offense and perverted practice.
According to charging documents, the alleged offenses occurred between May 2006 and December 2007. The student no longer attends the school.
