Biden, other Delawareans to salute Gov. MinnerPublished 01/06/09
DOVER, Del. — Vice president-elect Joe Biden joined more than 500 other Delawareans Monday evening for a tribute to Democratic Gov. Ruth Ann Minner, who leaves office later this month after 34 years in state government.
"You're the most remarkable public servant I have ever worked with. ... You are the most inspiring public figure I have ever worked with," Biden told the two-term governor, who is barred from seeking a third term.
