WASHINGTON (AP) — An 88-year-old gunman with a violent and virulently anti-Semitic past opened fire with a rifle inside the crowded U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum on Wednesday, fatally wounding a security guard before being shot himself by other officers, authorities said.

The assailant was hospitalized in critical condition, leaving behind a sprawling investigation by federal and local law enforcement and expressions of shock from the Israeli government and a prominent Muslim organization.

Yes, I'm sure that the President spent hours going over von Brunn's website and consciously decided not to mention his being anti-Christian. Give me a break. It was the Holocaust Museum for heaven's sake. Apparently this guy hated everyone. Is Obama supposed to mention every group this guy targeted. Finding fault with everything someone does is not unlike von Brunn's mentality.

From his youth until his death, this guy has and will have had no concept of what the human race should be. It is so sad that we still have the bitter hatred that exists because of people like this man and the influence he has passed on to others, particularly younger people

If he does not die from his wounds...hopefully they will now lock him up for the rest of his natural life. Come on people...grow up and get along. My thoughts go out to the victims family.
