HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) — The pilot of a helicopter that crashed on a western Maryland freeway last week, killing all four aboard, had been warned about foul weather minutes before taking off, according to a preliminary report the National Transportation Safety Board released Friday. The report didn't say what caused the July 23 crash on Interstate 70 near the top of South Mountain, about 60 miles west of Baltimore. It said the four-seat, Robinson R44, maintained by a flight training school, struck an unmarked, steel guy wire about 70 feet above the ground and damaged some power lines below it.
