Official's neighbor recalls almost being shot
GAITHERSBURG, Md. (AP) — A neighbor of a Gaithersburg official charged with discharging a firearm within city limits says a bullet from the official's gun entered his apartment and nearly hit him.
Assistant City Manager Fred Felton was also charged with reckless endangerment Wednesday.
His neighbor, Russ Castle, says he was eating dinner Tuesday night in front of the TV when a bullet came through the wall, passed through a closet and lodged in another wall near his washing machine. Police say it passed within six feet of Castle. Castle says he had...
