WASHINGTON, D.C. - House Republicans, including Maryland Rep. Roscoe Bartlett, R-Frederick, rallied against the House health care reform bill Thursday, speaking to a large crowd of supporters chanting "Kill the bill" and "U-S-A, U-S-A." The House is expected to vote on the bill this weekend. According to a Congressional Budget Office analysis, it will cover 36 million people without insurance by 2019. A Great Day - 2009-11-07 10:40:52
I had the pleasure of attending this rally - rode in on the metro with many others from Anne Arundel County - was shocked at the number of Democrats, expected primarily Republicans - but it was very nonpartisan in attendance. I don't think I've ever seen nicer crowds than those at the tea parties and this rally.
Let's hope our representatives heard the chants of "Kill the Bill" and "Can you hear us now" and let's hope they do the right thing in their vote.

Adds to the deficit - 2009-11-07 07:24:37
