Closing arguments set in Baltimore mayor's trial
BALTIMORE (AP) — The defense and prosecution in Baltimore Mayor Sheila Dixon's theft trial say they plan to each spend about an hour on closing arguments.
Jurors are then expected to begin deliberating later Thursday over a week of testimony and evidence, much of which was excluded with the dismissal of two counts involving Dixon's former boyfriend, developer Ronald Lipscomb.
Dixon and Lipscomb did not testify, but they could both take the stand at the mayor's perjury trial next spring.
