2 men rob Md. funeral home next to bank
PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (AP) — Calvert County authorities are searching for two men who tried to rob a funeral home that they may have mistaken for a bank.
Police say the men robbed Lee Funeral Home, next to a PNC Bank, in Owings on Monday. Lt. Steve Jones of the Calvert Investigative Team says an employee told the suspects they weren't in a bank.
The men assaulted one funeral home worker, whose injuries were not life-threatening. It's unclear if the robbers took anything.
