ROCKVILLE - Maryland Lottery officials say a Rockville man picked up a scratch-off ticket while buying breakfast for his co-workers and won $1 million.
Lottery officials did not identify the man Thursday, but they say he told them he threw an Extreme Cash Blast scratch-off ticket in with the croissants for his co-workers.
When he saw that he had won, he said his hands began to shake and he called his wife, who suggested he bring the ticket home for safekeeping.
