SALISBURY - The manager of Salisbury's airport said a second airline carrier might come to town.
Robert L. Bryant, manager of the Salisbury-Ocean City Wicomico Regional Airport, said an airline has approached the airport saying it has a "significant interest" in providing service. Bryant said the carrier wants to stay anonymous, but if a deal is struck, service could be offered sometime this year.
The news comes after the opening of a nearly $5 million expanded runway. It's now long enough to accommodate regional jet aircraft for the first time.
