With the help of Jazlyn Johnson, an 8th-grader at Bates Middle School, she spends some of her time writing her story, "A Wonderful Place" about a 16-year-old girl she named Cilibrea who goes to sleep and when she wakes up she's in a wonderful place.
"It's something like the story of Cinderella," said Jazlyn who likes to help the younger children with their homework and other projects such as writing.
