Senior members of the House of Prayer Church, 1427 Snug Harbor Road, Shady Side, will be honored at an appreciation service at 11 a.m. Feb. 18.
Those to be honored are Elder James Edward Butler Jr., Deacon Richard Samuel Dorsey Sr., Marie Elizabeth Dorsey, Elder Roman LeRoy Dorsey Sr. and Mary Alice Watkins, the oldest member of the church.
A reception will follow the service.
Church concert
Adams United Methodist Church, 927 Bayard Road, Lothian, will present a gospel concert at 4 p.m. tomorrow.
Featured groups will be the Silvertones of Annapolis and the Redeeming Souls of Washington....
