EYC sails to rescue of J/80 championshipsPublished 11/14/07
Annapolis wasn't slated to host the annual J/80 North American Championship. This year's event was supposed to be held on Lake Norman in North Carolina, but that body of water was deemed too shallow due to the record drought along the East Coast and organizers were forced to find an alternate venue.
Fortunately, Eastport Yacht Club and its top-notch race committee team stepped up and offered to host the regatta.
