Hutchinson picked as top sailor

Terry Hutchinson has been considered one of the world's finest professional sailors for many years. Yesterday, the Harwood native received some major affirmation of that fact.

Hutchinson was selected as United States Rolex Yachtsman of the Year by a panel of sailing journalists. The 1986 graduate of St. Mary's High in Annapolis beat out nine other male nominees for the prestigious honor, which was established US Sailing in 1961 and has been sponsored by Rolex Watch U.S.A since 1980.
