Brian Jones has been systematically testing the performance of his BC 27-footer since building and launching the sport boat last August. One year later, the results prove the Arnold resident's latest design is a winner. Jones continued an impressive run by skippering Problem Child to overall victory in the Race to Oxford last Friday. Predominantly downwind conditions favored the BC 27, which won PHRF A2 class by a healthy margin and wound up first in the entire 48-boat fleet by just over two minutes.
