Go figure. Chris Larson and his West Marine Rigging/New England Ropes team posted their poorest result of the Sheehy Lexus of Annapolis Melges 24 World Championship and still extended their lead. Such is the fickle and unpredictable nature of sailboat racing.  Day 4 of the 2009 Melges 24 World Championship sailing event.

Larson recorded a 12th in the lone race held in light, shifty winds yesterday and promptly designated that as his throw-out. West Marine Rigging/New England Ropes replaced that result with a sixth achieved in Race 3 and moved from second to first in the overall standings.
