Participating were 70 students in the Evening High Schools program.
The program, established in 1968, has graduated 2,400 students. Perhaps she should have spoken Nanticoke since that is the original language of this land. Or since more Marylanders claim German ancestry more than any other ancestry, perhaps she should have spoken German?

Why was the first part of the speech in Spanish? Aren't we in the United States? Don't we speak English here? Shouldn't you speak the language of the land if you want to reach out to the people? If you go to France, would you not speak French? If you go to Japan, would you not speak Japanese? So, if you come the USA, would you not speak English?
