School redistricting plan focuses on 70 studentsPublished 10/12/09
The Fox Chase neighborhood was on everyone's mind last week as a group of parents began discussing redrawing school boundaries for Southgate and Rippling Woods elementary schools in Glen Burnie. When construction at Southgate Elementary is completed in 2011 it will have space for about 70 more students, and nearby Rippling Woods, a neighbor school is currently using seven portable classrooms because it is overcrowded.
