AACC brings home 12 design awards

It's been a good year for the interior design department at Anne Arundel Community College. Out of about 35 designs entered into the American Society of Interior Designers Maryland-ChesapeakeHome's annual design competition in September, 12 earned first place or honorable mentions.

Louisa Shelby works on a computer-generated design project for a class at Anne Arundel Community College. She earned first place in the student specialty window treatments category at the ASID Maryland-ChesapeakeHome design competition in Baltimore.
And in every category the students entered, an AACC student designer brought home the top award. The winners are featured in the October-November edition of ChesapeakeHome magazine.
