Michele Devine, Chesapeake's signature program coordinator, said the schools may be the last to form their own boards, which serve as a link between the schools and the businesses community.
"We want to prepare students to be able to go out into the workforce, and to be successful in the 21st century," said Jacqueline Dunn, Northeast's signature program coordinator. "We can't do that without a strong partnership in the community."
