COLLEGE NOTEBOOK - County dominates lacrosse scene

Compiling the list of Anne Arundel women's college lacrosse players is a two-week undertaking. According to The Capital count, there are 161 county products playing for 65 schools.

We could never have come up with all the names listed below if not for Yearbook 2000, the informative and thorough preseason publication produced by Annapolis resident Cathy Samaras.

Yearbook 2000 includes rosters of nearly every Division I, II and III program in the country. Without it, we would never have found such players as Kelly Mack of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute or Holly Adkins of Guilford.
