College roundup: AACC wins tourney; more resultsPublished 09/04/05
Anne Arundel's men's soccer team opened its season in impressive fashion, capturing the Burlington County College Tournament in New Jersey. The Pioneers rolled past the host 4-1 on Friday night as Nick Carbott, Matt Conlon, Zach DiCarlo and Jordan Plamer scored. Evan Richter added two assists and Pat McGuire and Benite Barbosa also had assists. Yesterday, AACC won in even more impressive fashion, routing Camden (N.J.) 5-0 in the ttile game. Skip McQuarrie had a pair of goals in the title game and DiCarlo added a goal and two assists. Tyler Trace and Palmer also scored and Carbott provided an assist. Nate Uncapher...
