Pro soccer team seeks local homePublished 12/05/06
In July, the Crystal Palace Football Club, a century-old professional soccer team based in southern London, played an exhibition match against Crystal Palace USA - the club's new American professional development team - at the Glenn Warner soccer facility at the U.S. Naval Academy. Despite rainy conditions, the event drew more than 1,500 local spectators, which apparently exceeded expectations from optimistic members within the franchise.
