After three straight victories on the road, playoff hopes for Crystal Palace USA started to look very real. The top four teams in the United Soccer League's second division advance to the postseason, and after the Eagles' road trip, Palace was in fifth place. That's why, with four games left in the regular season, last night's matchup with fourth-place Harrisburg was viewed as a must-win. Harrisburg, however, contained sparkplug striker Gary Brooks and Palace's woes at home continued with a 2-0 loss in front of 401 fans at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.
