LANDOVER - It's a shame a nasty thunderstorm had to put a damper on Saturday night's game between the Baltimore Ravens and Washington Redskins.
A spirited crowd, while well below the announced 60,080, turned out at FedEx Field and included a significant number of Ravens fans. It may have been a meaningless exhibition to the rest of the National Football League, but for folks on either side of the Baltimore-Washington Parkway it was for bragging rights.
So it was a disappointment when thunder boomed and lightning cracked about 45 minutes before game time and the public address announcer ordered all fans to leave the stands and...
