Dana Dobbs is well known in this area as the track and cross country coach at Broadneck High School. There is a smaller faction of the community who knows him as an outstanding athlete in his own right.

Broadneck coach Dana Dobbs will be one of 1,500 expected for Sunday's Annapolis Triathlon.
Dobbs is a triathlete. He's a competitor in the sport that is actually three sports rolled into one, someone who is willing to dedicate his body and mind, his trouble and time, to travel wherever his ilk are gathering.
 This Sunday, Dobbs won't have far to go. Some 1,500 or so triathletes will be in and around Annapolis to compete in the inaugural Annapolis Triathlon. "Having a race in Annapolis is awesome," Dobbs said....
