Redskins place Rogers on IR, sign cornerbackPublished 10/31/07
ASHBURN, Va. (AP) - The Washington Redskins placed cornerback Carlos Rogers on injured reserve Tuesday and promoted cornerback John Eubanks from the practice squad.
Rogers tore two ligaments in his right knee in the first quarter of Sunday's loss to the New England Patriots. He will have reconstructive surgery later this month. Eubanks was an undrafted rookie free agent from Southern Mississippi last year and spent nearly the entire season on the practice squad.
