ASHBURN, Va. - Clinton Portis has lost his balance.
That's one conclusion the Washington Redskins running back made while watching himself on tape as he tried to analyze why he's averaging only 3.8 yards per carry and has gone a career-high 12 games without rushing for 100 yards.
"I really feel good. I think I look good," Portis said yesterday. "But at the same time, it's the balance. I can tell, like, in making a move when we played New England. There was one guy, I tried to sidestep him, and my legs just came from under me."
