Over the last decade, the Maryland-Duke game - any Maryland-Duke game - has promised all kinds of possibilities. One night, Duke might rally from 10 points down in the final minute to steal away a victory. Another time, the Terps might erase a double-digit deficit in the closing minutes to win a conference tournament final.

No one knows what drama lies in store during the course of tonight's Duke-Maryland encounter, if any. But the potential certainly is there. Coming in, the second-ranked Blue Devils (21-1, 9-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) and the unranked Terps (16-8, 6-3) are the league's two hottest teams.
