BALTIMORE - One of the most glaring holes in the Baltimore Orioles' Opening Day lineup is at shortstop. Perennial All-Star Miguel Tejada was traded to the Houston Astros during the off-season and neither Luis Hernandez nor Brandon Fahey has proven a capable replacement. Hernandez started yesterday and went 0-for-4 at the plate while handling four routine opportunities in the field without incident. However, the 23-year-old native of Venezuela did not seize the position during spring training and will likely split time with Fahey, a six-year minor leaguer who has spent parts of two seasons in Baltimore.
