Take designated hitter Aubrey Huff, for example. Huff was signed as a free agent in January of 2007 to fortify the middle of the lineup, and disappointed everyone by hitting just 15 homers last season. He further alienated fans this past offseason with some ill-advised comments about Charm City over the airwaves.
