It's too bad every golf course can't have 36 holes. If they did, they might be able to offer the variety of programs that Compass Pointe can. Compass Pointe, a county owned public course located on Fort Smallwood Road in Pasadena, has seen its rounds increase each year since the first 18 holes opened in 2003. Part of the reason is the high number of charity tournaments, leagues, camps, and other promotions that the course is able to offer thanks to the flexibility afforded by having not one but two championship courses.
