AACC honors athletes for stellar achievementsPublished 05/16/08
Anne Arundel Community College honored six successful student-athletes at its annual Athletics Awards Ceremony.
The 2007-2008 memorial award recipients are Jackie D'Orsaneo of Harwood, Todd Gentilcore of Bowie, Brandon Gonzalez of Crofton, Brittany Griffin of Edgewater, Nate Mayberry of Harwood and Bryanna Vohs of Pasadena.
D'Orsaneo won the William W. Evans Award for Female Scholar Athlete. The Bowie High School graduate and AACC freshman achieved a 3.7 grade point average on 34 credits. A women's soccer team midfielder, D'Orsaneo was named 2nd team All-American. Gentilcore received the Dr. John S. Laycock...
