AYLA midget team captures state titlePublished 06/22/08
Last spring, the Annapolis Youth Lacrosse Association Midget AA squad had an outstanding season cut short by an upset loss to Davidsonville in the county championship game. Coach Tom Bedard had nine players returning to the Midget level this season and said their dedication to eradicating that bad memory was remarkable. "That loss drove these kids all season. They were so motivated to get back to the county championship and win that they did speed and agility drills three times a week throughout the off-season," Bedard said.
