Coach Tom Bedard had nine players returning to the Midget level this season and said their dedication to eradicating that bad memory was remarkable.
"That loss drove these kids all season. They were so motivated to get back to the county championship and win that they did speed and agility drills three times a week throughout the off-season," Bedard said. "This was the hardest-working youth team I have ever seen."
