Rec Results: NAAC swimmers shine at meetPublished 09/26/08
Naval Academy Aquatic Club swimmers captured first place in all but two of the races in its inaugural Fall Splash Open Water Swim, which was held at Bay Ridge Beach. NAAC's Lexie Gilbert was first in the girls' 10-and-under half-mile swim. Kate Shea and Elizabeth Woods were second and third, respectively. In the boys 10-and-under half mile, Jerra Ewing was second and Thomas Hannah was third. Maggie Kirby and Gavin Colley took first in the girls and boys 11/12 one-mile swim.
