It was a night about family and community at the 18th annual Anne Arundel County Sports Hall of Fame Banquet.

The county sports hall of fame inducted, from left, Travis Pastrana, Chuck Sturm, Linda Kilpatrick and Chuck Hebron last night before a crowd of nearly 500 at Michael’s 8th Avenue in Glen Burnie.A near capacity crowd of almost 500 filled the Michael's 8th Avenue banquet hall to enshrine baseball and football great Chuck Hebron, Southern High coach Linda Kilpatrick, action sports superstar Travis Pastrana and boxer Chuck Sturm. It seemed that half of south county showed up to honor Kilpatrick, the winningest girls basketball coach in Anne Arundel County history with 443 victories in 31 seasons.
