Carolina cruises in Maui without HansbroughPublished 11/25/08
Danny Green and North Carolina cruised into the semifinals of the EA Sports Maui Invitational with Tyler Hansbrough staying on the sideline. It's about to get a lot tougher for the top-ranked Tar Heels. Green scored a career-high 26 points and North Carolina, again playing without Hansbrough, beat Chaminade 115-70 last night in the opening round of the tournament. The Tar Heels (4-0) didn't get much of a challenge from the Division II host school but they'll play Oregon in today's semis and either No. 6 Texas and No. 8 Notre Dame if they reach the championship.
