Severna Park resident Ed Wilson, a veritable national legend on the youth basketball circuit, will be honored during the Touchdown Club of Annapolis annual awards banquet tonight. Wilson will receive the Steve Belichick Coaches' Award, which is bestowed for long-time and exemplary service to the coaching profession. Established following Belichick's death in November 2005, the award recognizes a dedicated individual who, like the former Naval Academy assistant, worked with young athletes due to a love of coaching and not for fame and fortune.
