PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Ryan Howard spent two nights in the hospital this weekend. Raul Ibanez is injured, Jimmy Rollins is getting booed and not even a strong outing by Cole Hamels is enough to boost the slumping Phillies these days.
Brian Roberts had the decisive hit for the second straight game, a tiebreaking single in the eighth inning, and the Baltimore Orioles completed a three-game sweep of Philadelphia with a 2-1 victory Sunday.
