After shoulder surgery last June to repair a torn labrum and rotator cuff, former Glen Burnie catcher Glen Jenkins has worked his way back. He starred for CCBC-Dundalk this past season and earned a scholarship to play at Mansfield (Pa.).One bad slide nearly ended Glen Jenkins' baseball career. Playing in a summer league game last year, Jenkins slid head-first into second base. He stole the bag, but severely jammed his left arm - a crucial injury for any fielder, especially a catcher. "I went into the dugout and told my coach, 'There is something wrong with my arm,'" said Jenkins, who played for Glen Burnie before leading the Community College of Baltimore County-Dundalk last season.
