A pair of county American Legion baseball rivals reunited for a third time this season, and as usual the game produced a tight affair.

Severna Park second baseman Mike Boushell throws to first after forcing Pasadena’s Scott Arndt during last night’s American Legion baseball clash. Severna Park Post 175 prevailed, 5-3, in the game at Joe Cannon Stadium.The Pasadena Post 277 Saints faced Severna Park Post 175 Spartans at Joe Cannon Stadium yesterday. The Spartans beat the Saints' 5-3, the largest victory from either team in the last three face-offs. The win came on the heels of a 4-3 victory on Saturday that gives Severna Park a 2-1 edge in the season series. The teams are scheduled to square off again next Wednesday at North County High School.
