COLLEGE PARK - Maryland sophomore Torrey Smith has shown he can run back kicks, catch passes and run the ball from scrimmage.
He accounted for 229 total yards and a pair of touchdowns in the Terrapins' 38-35 overtime victory over James Madison last week, including an 81-yard kickoff return for a score and an 8-yard run for another. In Week 1 against Cal, his total yardage tally was 232 yards, including 187 on returns, 29 receiving and 16 rushing.
So what's next? Perhaps taking a turn at quarterback, or throwing a pass off an end-around? That's the only thing he hasn't done yet, though he probably could. At Stafford...
