OWINGS MILLS -- The Baltimore Ravens have ruled out Pro Bowl outside linebacker Terrell Suggs for Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts due to a minor tear of his right medial collateral ligament.
It’s a fairly serious injury suffered when Cleveland Browns quarterback Brady Quinn illegally launched himself at Suggs' knees.
As a consequence, Quinn was fined $10,000 by the league office and admonished for a dangerous play that has been characterized as a cheap shot by Ravens middle linebacker Ray Lewis.
