DENVER (AP) — The Washington Capitals were happy with an easy win, but they didn't leave Colorado in a good mood. Find Us On Facebook
Tomas Fleischmann scored two goals, Jose Theodore stopped 27 shots and Washington routed the Colorado Avalanche 6-1 on Tuesday night.
Nicklas Backstrom and Matt Bradley had a goal and assist each, and Mike Knuble and David Steckel also scored. Kyle Wilson and Chris Clark both had two assists for the Capitals, who have won seven of nine.
