Lindsay Berman remembers the quizzical looks she received after telling friends at Arundel High that she played ice hockey.
"People would ask if I meant field hockey or say 'Girls play ice hockey?' I got that reaction a lot," Berman said.
Berman fell in love with the skate sport at an early age and has steadily developed into one of the finest female players in the country.
