NAVY BASEBALL: Navy outfielder Mike Hoosier and infielder Matthew Curley each had three hits yesterday to lead the Midshipmen to a baseball doubleheader sweep of Iona, 8-5 and 5-2, at Terwilliger Brothers Field at Max Bishop Stadium. Find Us On Facebook
Navy snapped its brief two-game skid to improve its record to 12-3. Iona saw its record fall to 4-5. Hoosier went 3-for-5 on the afternoon with a double, a triple, three runs scored and a pair of stolen bases. Curley also finished his day 3-for-5 at the plate with a double, two runs scored and five RBIs. Navy's five-through-nine hitters scored all-eight runs for the Mids in game one....
