NAVY WRESTLING: All four wrestlers that Navy sent to the NCAA Championships were eliminated yesterday. Aaron Kalil (125 pounds), Glenn Shober (149), Bryce Saddoris (157) and Scott Steele (heavyweight) all suffered consolation bracket losses. Find Us On Facebook
Steele was the lone Navy qualifier to win his opening round match, defeating Ricardo Alcala of UC-Davis 3-2 on Thursday. The senior from Towson was pinned by Iowa's Daniel Erekson in the second round, but stayed alive with a 2-1 decision over Christian Brantley of Northern Iowa in his first consolation bout.
