NAVY SPRINT FOOTBALL: Mitch Maury, a major in the Marine Corps, has been appointed the academy's 28th head sprint football coach. Maury was a four-year letter winner as a tight end at Maine from 1993-96. Find Us On Facebook
Maury inherits a sprint football team that enters the 2010 campaign with a program-record 23-game winning streak, dating back to 2006. The Midshipmen own a 57-3 overall record, including a 37-2 mark in conference play, over the last nine seasons.
